During my recent stay at Super 8 in Norwich, NY, I was impressed with the hotel's focus on business amenities. The reliable Wi-Fi made it easy to attend virtual meetings and keep up with work while away. Free parking was an added convenience, allowing me to come and go without hassle. The 24-hour reception proved helpful when my group needed a room change. Although my first room on the second floor was not ideal—there was an unmistakable smell and some minor maintenance issues—the staff was accommodating and promptly helped us to a more spacious third-floor room. Keep in mind there are no elevators, so if you have mobility issues, this could be a challenge. While the breakfast offerings were limited to coffee and breakfast bars, there are dining options nearby, which is typical of small-town settings. While the hotel could use a makeover and improved cleanliness in some areas, the comfortable beds and friendly staff made it a workable spot for business travelers. If you're looking for a place to work remotely without breaking the bank, this could be a solid option.
